On Sunday afternoon in the weekend me and my family went to the Pt England Reserve. When we got there we could see hundreds of people playing around, it looked like they had a lot of fun on the play ground. My sisters went onto the park while I was reading this book that had information about how to meet a new friend, I had a go and it worked.
My mum and dad said "come on now come and have lunch". "Okay mum where coming" Lizara replies. For lunch we had chicken sandwiches, pop corn, blue bird salted chips, a starz drink each and after that we had a vanilla ice cream yummy. After eating for about 20 or 15 minutes we waitedl for 10 minutes just to settle our stomachs.
After a while we got all of our new sports gear and got everything ready so that we could start playing. The first game we played was ripper, so me and my sisters setted the game. It was boring with just 7 people so we asked more people if they wanted to play and they said "yes please we would like to play with you". I had 6 people in my family and there was about 9 people that we asked if they wanted to play so that is 15 people all together.
We started playing the game at 5:00 and stayed there until it got to 7:00. Some of the kids got tired so there parents told us that it was time for them to go home because they had school in the morning. On our way home the wind got heavier and heavier the rain came out of no where and the sky was patch black. When we got home everyone raced inside trying not to get wet and my mum and dad made us all a hot cup of chocolate we had tim tam biscuts with that too out own packets. Then we had a good night sleep for school the next day.

The Solomon Islands
Did you know that the rocks of Solomon Islands has recently devastated by floods and was struck by a 7.6 magnitude earthquake in the weekend? Mostly all of the islands have been inhabited for thousands and thousands of years. In 1568, all of the Spanish navigators has been naming them the Islas Solomon.
There was a powerful magnitude 7.6 earthquake has struck near Solomon Islands on Sunday morning. They have been having earthquakes for quite a while now. Casualties, 10 people were found dead, there was 6 people missing and 17 people were injured badly. The 2013 Solomon Islands earthquakes a seismic events registering Mw 8.0 that stuck.
About 26.000 were killed or they were either gone missing, and 9.000 died of disease and 1.00. Some people were very upset for their lost, their house were destroyed, including all the stores. So that means that there is no food to eat they had dirty water to drink.

Fiafia Night
On Thursday afternoons everyone will go to there practices for Fia Fia and start putting up ideas for what their performance is going to be like. For Fia Fia I was put into two groups and those groups are the senior Kapa Haka group and the senior hip hop group. I am was so excited for the real night but it will be held on the 9th of April 2014. Everyone just can’t wait for Fia Fia night.
The next day Mr Burt said “Today we will be having a rehearsal, for the night is tomorrow night. There will be tons of lovely people coming to the show, watching our wonderful performances." We were just going through our dance rehearsals to see how long it takes and what it will look like and how to get on the stage and off. It was the last practice for us and everyone got very nervous, because Fia Fia is coming up.
The night finally came, and as the light blue sky went darker and darker more people came to the show to watch us perform. The audience was waiting politely for the show to begin. When I first walked into the breeze I could smell the delicious food everywhere it made so hungry. So I bought myself a whole heap of junk food, and it was from Quasia's parents. There was a whole heap of lovely food, feeding our tummies. Yummy!!!!
The show began and the crowd was going wild, cheering for everyone and screaming loudly. The senior Kapa Haka group was the opening for the show and the Junior Kapa Haka group was the closing group for the night. To go with that there was 21 other groups that were performing.
My favourite performance that I saw so far is the senior Samoan group, Hawaiian group and the junior hip hop group as well. The junior hip hop group was killing it on the stage not to be mean or anything but they were kinda better than the senior hip hop performance, they had great songs it was funny and it was just amazing just like the middle hip hop group too.
